As Vice President of Operations, Doug leads the overall management of the company’s network infrastructure. He oversees all aspects of network design, engineering, and operations, ensuring SummitIG maintains the highest standards of performance, reliability, and protection.

Doug brings extensive knowledge across all facets of the industry, with leadership experience spanning data center operations, fiber manufacturing, network construction, and infrastructure management and engineering.

Prior to joining SummitIG, Doug served as District Manager of Fiber Engineering at Crown Castle, leading engineering efforts for small cell and lit services. Preceding Crown Castle, he served as Senior Fiber Optic Applications Engineer at Panduit, providing global Tier 3 support, and as Transmission System Operations Manager at MCI, where he oversaw more than 1,500 miles of fiber and two dozen regeneration and repeater sites.

Doug holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
