GENERAL DESCRIPTION: A strong candidate to join our finance and accounting team will have great attention to detail, be flexible with the ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.  Reliability and a positive attitude with the ability to accept feedback are key values we look for in our team members. An optimal candidate will be comfortable switching between various activities such as day-to-day transaction processing, month-end close / reporting responsibilities and various medium to longer term projects to improve the operations. This role will report to the VP of Finance/Controller. The primary focus will be on ensuring US GAAP compliance with all aspects of the company, capital expenditures forecasting and reporting (CAPEX), and assisting with REIT Testing. They will help ensure the department provides accurate and timely reporting to all internal and external stakeholders.  They will work alongside multiple other team members who handle most day-to-day processing functions, large portions of the month-end close, and other duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Prepare & Analyze Financial Statements, Ensuring Compliance with GAAP
    • CAPEX forecasting for multiple markets
    • Transfer Pricing and Intercompany Reconciliations
    • Quarterly REIT Testing
    • Manage Parts of the Annual Audit and Tax Filings
    • Assist with Annual Budget Process and Periodic Mid-Year Forecasts
    • Interact with other departments to gather and share information
    • Weekly Cash Forecast
    • Work with team on multiple upcoming projects: further enhancement of management reporting, possible implementation of a new accounting system, new cash forecasting tool, and more.
GENERAL QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:
    • Accounting degree.
    • Public accounting and telecommunications industry experience preferred.
    • 4-5 years of combined experience with a strong knowledge of GAAP with the operational skills required in a smaller accounting department.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel & Data Analysis.
    • Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct preferred.
    • Should have accuracy and precision, an interest in business, be well organized, with a willingness to be a member of a growing team.
